Medan, February 1, 2024 - The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a strategic meeting with lecturers within FEB on Thursday, February 1, 2024. This event took place in the Hall of Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto, FEB USU, and aimed to formulate lecture plans and improve the quality of human resources within the faculty.
With the theme "Lecture Preparation Meeting for Even Semester 2023/2024", this meeting starts at 10.00 WIB and lasts until 12.00 WIB. The participants who attended consisted of FEB USU lecturers, as well as the dean who led the meeting.
One of the main points of this meeting is to report on the development and achievement of services and performance of each FEB work program during 2023. The participants were also given an overview of the work program plans of each dean's field for the coming year. This is in line with efforts to improve the quality of the work environment as well as the capabilities and competencies of FEB's human resources.
In addition, this meeting is also a forum to appreciate the achievements of lecturers in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The achievements are expected to be an inspiration for other lecturers to be more creative and dedicated in carrying out their academic duties.
The question-and-answer discussion session is an important part of this meeting, where lecturers can interact directly with the dean regarding the implementation of learning activities in odd and even semesters of 2023/2024. This discussion becomes a momentum for participants to exchange ideas and provides input for the improvement of the lecture system in the future.
"With this meeting, we hope to increase the synergy between lecturers and deans in carrying out FEB USU's academic functions. We are also committed to continuing to improve the quality of education and services to students and the community," said one of the representatives of the event committee.
This meeting was successfully closed with enthusiasm, while leaving further information about the work programs described earlier. This is the first step for FEB USU in welcoming a more qualified and competitive lecturing period.
