The Undergraduate Program in Accounting of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), conducted a Guest Lecture Program at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) on November 2, 2025. This activity is part of efforts to strengthen international academic collaboration and enhance the quality of learning through the exchange of knowledge and academic experiences between the two institutions.

In this program, four lecturers from the Undergraduate Program in Accounting of FEB USU served as speakers, namely Sambas Ade Kesuma, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Ak., CA; Risanty, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA; Uchi Lilla Qadri, S.E., M.Si.; and Tiara Reizsa Adhitya, S.E., M.Si. They delivered materials related to developments in accounting science, professional practices, as well as contemporary issues in accounting relevant to the dynamics of the global business environment.
The implementation of this guest lecture provided an opportunity for students of Universiti Utara Malaysia to gain broader academic insights into the development of accounting theories and practices, including the challenges and opportunities of the accounting profession in the era of globalization and digitalization. In addition, the activity encouraged constructive academic discussions between students and speakers on various perspectives in the advancement of accounting knowledge.

The participation of FEB USU lecturers in this program is expected to strengthen international academic networks and open opportunities for further collaboration in research, community service, and globally oriented curriculum development. This Guest Lecture Program also reflects FEB USU’s commitment to supporting the internationalization of higher education and improving the quality of learning through collaboration with international partner universities.
