Master's Program (S-2)

The Master Program in Economic Science at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is a postgraduate program focusing on student-centred learning. The main objective is to produce graduates who can evaluate social and economic problems by adopting the latest economic theories and empirical methods and make critical scientific studies that provide cross-disciplinary solutions and are recognized nationally and internationally.

With great pleasure, I am pleased to welcome you to the Master's Program in Economic Science at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara.

Assalamu ‘alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, Praise and gratitude to Allah SWT, the Almighty God because thanks to His guidance the team can complete and prepare the Plan for the Doctor of Economics Study Program FEB Universitas Sumatera Utara (Strategic Plain DIE FEB USU Study Program) 2022-2026. This Strategic Plan is a guide and a form of joint commitment and stakeholders (Stakeholders) in realizing the Vision and Mission as well as a guide in the preparation of work programs and financing within the 2021-2025 FEB USU Doctor of Economics Study Program. It has become a strong desire and commitment to realize the Vision and Mission of FEB USU in synergizing the diverse economic potential of the North Sumatra region, this Strategic Plan was prepared as a derivative of the 2020-2024 FEB USU Strategic Plan which develops the mandate of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Finally, we would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the work team of the 2021-2025 FEB USU Doctor of Economics Study Program Strategic Plan who have spent their time, energy and thoughts in preparing this Strategic Plan. May Allah SWT protect and bless our struggle.
