Pembukaan Program Studi S1 Ekonomi Islam FEB USU Tahun Akademik 2026/2027
The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), has officially opened the Bachelor’s Program in Islamic Economics and will begin admitting new students in the Academic Year 2026/2027. The establishment of this study program forms part of FEB USU’s efforts to expand access to high-quality higher education and to respond to the growing need for the development of an economy grounded in Islamic values at both national and global levels.
The opening of the Bachelor’s Program in Islamic Economics at FEB USU is stipulated under the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara Decree Number 3742/UN5.1.R/SK/TP.01.05/2025. The program has obtained an accreditation status of Good based on the Decree of LAMEMBA Number 803/DE/A.5/AR.11/X/2025, reflecting formal recognition of its compliance with established higher education quality standards.
The Bachelor’s Program in Islamic Economics at FEB USU is designed to produce graduates with strong academic and professional competencies in the field of Islamic economics and business, with an emphasis on theoretical foundations, policy analysis, Islamic financial practices, and the integration of Islamic values in economic decision-making. The presence of this program is expected to contribute to the development of highly qualified, ethical, and competitive human resources to support the rapidly growing Islamic economic sector.
