Medan- A student from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FEB USU), is scheduled to participate in the Student Creativity Program (PKM) team attending the 2026 Bootcamp for the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS), scheduled for October 23–25, 2026.

According to an academic exemption letter issued by the Directorate of Student Affairs and Alumni of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Rizky Mardiansyah, an FEB USU student, is listed as a member of a Social Sciences and Humanities Research (PKM-RSH) team alongside students from the Faculty of Psychology.

The bootcamp is part of the students' preparation for PIMNAS, a national event that promotes student creativity, research capabilities, and innovation. Participation in this program is expected to strengthen students' academic competencies, critical-thinking skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through enhanced learning and student competency development, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by encouraging research, creativity, and innovation. Collaboration among students from different faculties also supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering cooperation toward sustainable development.

FEB USU's participation is expected to provide an opportunity for students to develop their academic potential and contribute to scientific activities that encourage innovative ideas and solutions for society.
