The Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), in collaboration with PT Adi Askara Bumi/Pertamina Foundation and PT Link Net Tbk, will organize a ceremonial planting of 10,000 trees to support environmental sustainability and the development of a green campus. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to environmental conservation, ecosystem restoration, and the creation of a greener, healthier, and more sustainable campus environment.

This activity supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action) through environmental conservation efforts, and SDG 15 (Life on Land) through initiatives that support ecosystem restoration and biodiversity conservation. Furthermore, the collaboration between USU and its external partners aligns with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening cross-sector partnerships to advance sustainable development.
